Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is a service that addresses the “occupations” of life. A child's occupation is the ability to play, perform in school, and interact with people and objects at a developmentally appropriate level. A child's ability to engage in all these task requires fine motor functioning of the hands, gross motor functioning of the whole body, adequate sensory processing, perceptual motor skill, visual motor integration and the ability to put it all together for learning.

Physical Therapy

Pediatric Physical Therapy is provided to children from birth to twenty-one who are experiencing functional limitations or disability due to a disorder, a disease process, or trauma.

The goals of treatment are to diminish impairments and to prevent or decrease disability while enhancing reflexes, improving tone, range of motion, and strength, as well as motor skills and functions.

Speech & Language Therapy

Speech and language pathologists diagnose and treat people who have communication, oral-motor, and feeding deficits. Communication deficits are primarily characterized by receptive and expressive language disorders, and articulation/speech disorders.

Receptive language disorders impact a child's ability to comprehend auditory information. Expressive language disorders impact a child's ability to formulate thoughts into words.
